Orientia is the Gaea's largest and most populous continent with over 4.2 Billion people or 60% of Gaea's entire population, located primarily in the eastern and northern hemispheres.
Orientia is traditionally defined as part of the landmass of Uberientia — with the western portion of the latter occupied by Uberia.

The Economy of Orientia has been one of the fastest growing on Gaea, with countries such as Nanzhao, India, Pakistan, and Indonesia being some of the fastest growing.
Kobiyashi is the largest economy on Orientia when measured in GDP Nominal and Nanzhao is largest by GDP PPP.

Manufacturing in Orientia has traditionally been strongest in East and Southeast Asia, in countries such as Nanzhao, Kobiyashi, Indonesia, South Korea and Singapore.

Orientia has five main financial centres: Kagoshima, Chiang Mai, Singapore City,Xînîngdong and Guangzhen. Call centres and business process outsourcing (BPOs) are becoming major employers in India and Pakistan due to the availability of a large pool of highly skilled, English-speaking workers. The increased use of outsourcing has assisted the rise of India, Émsoulle Luxia and the Nanzhao as financial centres. Due to its large and extremely competitive information technology industry, India has become a major hub for outsourcing.
